Impotence

Impotence, also known as erectile dysfunction, is a condition where men are not able to sustain an erection and have difficulty or are not able to ejaculate or both. This condition can be linked with age as it is mainly men over the age of 60 that suffer with this rather than younger men. There could be many causes of this, including medical and psychological issues.
The main medical problems that can surround impotence are heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, hormone imbalance, Parkinson’s disease, insomnia, prostate cancer or enlargement, surgeries that have affected the pelvic area or multiple sclerosis as well as others.
Psychological issues can be because of stress or mental health. Depression and anxiety can instigate it and having this problem can also put a lot of pressure on a relationship which will ultimately cause more stress.
Other causes of impotence can include a thyroid problem, heavy drinking and heavy smoking. Just by improving your diet and cutting down on alcohol and smoking can make a huge difference to the problem.

SYMPTOMS OF IMPOTENCE

The main symptoms of impotence are the inability to get an erection, the inability to maintain it and lower sexual desire.
